And even though I can't be sure, memory tells me that these times are worth working for..

wearing Forever 21 skinny jeans, thrifted plaid shirt, Amisu leopard coat, Terranova leggings, Converse chuck taylors, vintage bag

Plans, plans, plans. My head is close to exploding. The weather is wonderful outside but I am at home in my pajamas, hair wrapped in a towel, and my heart full of gratitude. I have had more than enough time to think on my vacation, and cant wait to get back to work - too much downtime can kill braincells - and god knows I have not many left. Ive been blessed beyond measures these last few months, Ive rebounded like no other, and I am counting counting counting my endless blessings. Family to me is more important than life, and it goes hand in hand with love.. love above all. My holidays were filled with so much love, enough to make my heart burst..

Im in a last-few-days-scramble to pick up little gifts before I get on a plane to Sweden this weekend - I figured I couldnt leave without freezing my ass off in the snow, and I absolutely could not turn down my Paulina's invite.. I cant wait! Ive never been to Sweden, have you? What to do, what to do?

X

PS: For those asking, I am still in Marbella, Spain. These photos were taken at the mall.. Spanish sunny day sunsets are bomb!

Well, I´m Swedish so I think I might be able to give a few tips...

First of all, if you´re staying in a big city, you gotta check out my favourite stores; Monki and Weekday.
http://www.monki.com/
http://www.weekday.com/

When in Sweden, you gotta do typical Swedish/Scandinavian things. Like sauna bathing. (a Finnish tradition though) Preferably after a cold bath or shower, while drinking beer and slapping your body with a bundle of birch twigs, haha :D

Try the local cuisine. I think you have to been brought up with some of our stuff to really enjoy it, but Swedish meatballs (köttbullar) is something that´s hard to NOT like ;)

Go to café with friends to drink coffee, or go "fika" as it is called in Sweden. Fika is very popular here, Swede´s are one of the biggest coffee consumers in the world(!)

Go out in our beautiful nature and just enjoy they unspoiled beauty of our country. It´s a shame you visit when it´s not as beautiful as it could be, like in June when everything blossoms... *sigh* (longing for it)

And then of course, you gotta try the night life, because I think that is something everyone should try while visiting a new place.

I hope you enjoy your stay in Sweden.
Take care, xoxo
