Colour Club hologram nails in "worth the risque" // Marboro lights cancer stick // Phantogram song
I have decided that everything is a 1000x awesomer in rainbows. The photos don't do my claws justice!
Thoroughly cruising through my backlogs today, but my pathetically hungover body wants to hear nothing of it.. and so it is back to bed. This is all the work I managed to do today.
I know Ive been slacking off, but its been crazy busy lately and Ive been having some trouble dealing with some personal things.. maybe one day I will do another post on that but for now lets stay on a more positive note:
Yesterday I assisted a METRO Magazine shoot in beautiful Asya Premiere Suites, and they used one of my dresses for the editorial, exciting!
I have yet to edit what seems like a million party photos from the KTA.. waaah
I had my nails done by the talented ladies at Body & Sole Hand & Foot Spa, which is opening tomorrow! They do stamping and all sorts of nail art, foot spas and facials and are located on the Boracay Main Road, across from Allied Bank. Pay them a visit this summer!
I shot a mini lookbook for RenegadeLovers' summer collection entirely on my windowsill.. I love backlit photos and the sunlight/set was beautiful that day, I had to take advantage of it. Those photos will hopefully be up this week & the dresses in the shop.. I'm totally hustlin'!
I'm about to run off to make some red velvet cupcakes for my friends which we will enjoy while watching the sunset and sippin' Mojitos at Courtyard Bistro, White House but before I go, here is a glimpse at the KTA Boracay in moving pictures.
In a daze still, after the kite safari. My sunburn has turned into a bit of a splotchy nightmare.. not unusual for me, the girl with dry and hypersensitive skin. I am gradually switching up all my skin products for the organic variety, alas there is hope for those who struggle with it like I do. So far, the Human Heart Nature organic facial wash, toner and night cream has not triggered any violent outbursts.. and I have dipped into the wonderful world of organic makeup by purchasing samples of Ellana Mineral Cosmetics concealer and foundation. All products are made in the Philippines.. super amazing gift idea too.
Meanwhile, I received the 12 color nail art set I ordered from Ebay and have begun to vandalize the nails on my left hand.. take note, I am right handed so I am forced to stick to one handed nail art.. for now! I was up all night scanning the interweb for more nail art tutorials, so if you know of any good ones, please send them my way!
Lastly, if you haven't seen the movie SPREAD with Ashton Kutcher, you must go out and see it, I am absolutely infatuated with Margarita Levieva who looks like a mix of Shakira, Jessica Alba and Olivia Palermo. Some just have it all, hey?
Last night's "Glam Rock" party was another success - the kite school again looked like it had been through a time machine. We rocked our studs, animal print and even the boys were clad in the skin tight nut-huggers. I have to say, when I first met Mars, he was quiet and reserved. He still is, most of the time, except when a big party is on and the occasion to dress up arises - then he turns into the flamboyant 6'4 tall wild child and well, I gladly take the blame and credit for that. Last night, he looked very much like an uber-sleazy adult film star and he was enjoying every minute of it.
I was doing OK with the beers until someone showed me the bottle of Jack Daniels.. I'll leave the rest up to your imagination. But If I continue partying at this rate, I'm gonna be burnt out by Christmas.. and so, awaiting the Edralins return to Stink City tomorrow, I have decided on a semi-sabbatical and am officially grounding myself indefinitely. Now lets just hope I last at least until the weekend. Seriously, I need to move to a quieter spot on the island, some place where I can quietly read a book before going to sleep, something I have not been able to do in almost 4 years. I blame it on the bass.
I am slowly trying to do some Christmas shopping - not an easy task considering the mall here is a short strip of overpriced shops. Maybe I should do an Ebay shopping post soon but for now I am going to dig deep into my Google Reader and read up on everyone's blogs - I have about 500+ posts to read.
Hope all is well with you kids ♥

Currently obsessed with AnnoBirkin. I have never read poetry like his, devastatingly beautiful and melancholic.. and to think he was only 21 when he died. Way too soon. [And yes, he is also from thatBirkin family.]
I really need his book.
Anodyne
Tearing down the air again, trying to find a stare that's faint and haunted; teased and taunted mind recedes - diseased and out of fiction.
Belladonna anodyne, fill my blood and fill my world with lust ... Roses sunk in cyanide, thrown aside and blown back by the wind ... Do you see the ... sinners drinking iodine, to cleanse their dreams and rid their minds of thought?
And I've seen her rise ... at times ... at night ... her majestic pupils cast, and setting stars ... are hung ... above ... horizons where you are.
Hot to touch and out of breath, lost for words, it's best I just stay silent.
Upped inside and on the rise, I found a little low.
Do you feel these roots, so weak? I'm paranoid, and fear of rain has left a joy in storms ... And in their eyes ... at times ... at night ... see the light of sudden stars, etched in sand ... I'm walking on horizons where I stand ... high on her eyes ... high and I rise, over the land......................................
