There were always golden rocks to throw at those who admit defeat too late

  • Today we got up at sunrise and caught some of the soft morning sun before the heat came out from behind the clouds. Mars bravely shot away while I paraded in my dresses, blew bubbles, picked flowers and tried not to fall off the cliff. The result is amazing, for a rookie photographer, and I'm more that pleased with what we managed to come up with. I needed some images for some posters for promotional purposes and for the display in the local shop where I will be consigning my dresses. The first one to go to print will be the one above, the rest I will post on the blog, as my first mini lookbook.. soon..
  • I have been extremely stressed lately - from the hectic dress making to the costume sewing to the competition preparation; I haven't been showing it but today it all came down on me hard and I broke down and cried some of the pressure away. Nothing like a good cry and a couple of gin tonics to soothe the soul.. change is always difficult to manage, but I am trying my best and remaining positive although admittedly, today, I had a bit of a moment where I thought about not doing the tour. I love kite boarding but sometimes it just consumes me to the point where I have no room left for anything else in my life. Lord knows that, would be of no good to me right now.
  • I also lightened my roots yesterday [finally!].. light hair always tends to freak me out at first but when my hair is dark, it washes me out [I was a blond as a baby..], and would probably end up looking a tad harsh with the shaved side anyway. I'm due for a shave this weekend, so here's what I want to know..
What design should I have done next?
[Popular suggestions include; lighting bolt, checkered, hearts]

PS: Big shoutout and lots of L.O.V.E. to my main man and rock for being the best manfriend ever - and for being such a patient photographer, even when his subject would not shut up for the entire shoot. lol

PPS: Obsessed with Elephant Gun & Postcards from Italy by Beirut. Wayyy obsessssssssssed.

hope you are all well! x

Awwww. Pressure is really harsh. Don't worry. I'm sure it's going to be alright. SOOOON. Good luck! ;)

And oh, I love the photo, too!
I'll do a shoot with bubbles one of these days. I'll ask my 10-year-old niece to be my model. Hahaha! :D

As for the design, I'll go for STARS! ;)
