Vintage fiends/finds

tee - DIYed bench body, shorts - thrifted & DIYed, boots - hongkong, socks - nike, scarf - bazaar

Day 1 in Baguio was so much fun. We had the boys drop us off at 10am, agreeing to meet them for lunch. By 1pm, we were exhausted and all shopped out. We headed to the cafe by the ruins, regained strength and decided to go home to discuss our finds and mourn the silly minnetonkas I couldn't have. I also spotted a disgusting pair of knee high black boots with neon patched all over it. It came to me straight from the 80's, but because we were on our way out, I didn't bother trying them on anymore, debating whether to come back for them or not. The next day I couldn't not find them anymore! It just wasn't meant to be. We did however, dub them the Santogold boots. She would have been so proud.

That day I scored 5 pairs of shoes, a few dirt cheap bags, even a fur shoulder bag which I am obsessed with, silk scarves for a dollar each, a new wallet for half a dollar, and a puff sleeved corset like Vivienne Westwood-ish top. I don't know when or where I am gonna end up wearing it but it was too good to pass up. I shall come up with something. I bought some tops that I am going to alter or DIY, depending on my mood, and also scored a really thick black knit shawl which is going to end up in storage until my next trip into the cold. Oh, and before i forget there is also this really ugly frilly white ruffly skirt. Ugh its awful looking, and i love it. I will probably fix it before taking it out on a spin though, but it has potential. Seriously, on this trip I was attracted to the ugliest things ever. Must go back when I'm not feeling so emotional!

I will post photos of my finds once i get around to unpacking and disinfecting everything.. but for now, feast your eyes upon my amazingly stylish girlfriends. I personally think they all need their own blog, hey?
