DIY Chanel Nails

As a teenager, I would get so bored with the nail polish selections that were available to me, so I mixed a lot of my own polish. My favorites were always dark berry tones, which I got by mixing blues with bright red. I have a bit of a nail polish collection, as you can probably tell, but was craving the pale jade color from the Chanel runways, so I decided to just DIY it. I started by mixing some green into white, which didnt go so well because my white was already too thick for mixing.

Instead, I grabbed a bottle of pale blue polish, and kept adding drops of yellow and then turquoise, and shaking it all up, checking, then adding some more until I got the shade I was looking for. Its the easiest thing ever, but make sure you shake it for a while so the colors really blend together.

Voila!

Sickeningly easy. Now you try it.

hi, thanks for stopping by at my blog! i think your jade nails look like the real thang! i mean, i don't have the actual polish and it actually looks more blue than green to me on other girls. moodboard suggested an essie colour that also looks blue. i like yours better. well done!
