wearing vintage ombre maxi skirt, bershka top, markets scarf
The last few days have been lost in a hectic flurry.. life has been about boarding passes, taxis, overweight baggage and airplane food and now I'm just glad to have finally arrived. There is something so satisfying and overwhelmingly beautiful about staying at my Grandparents house. I still remember running up and down the stairs with my cousins and sneaking into the stockroom to admire the freezers full of ice cream. The ultimate reward for the past few hectic days was the amazing steak lunch topped with a slice of Beehive Roll aka vanilla ice cream wrapped in chocolate cake topped with chocolate sauce aka a slice of heaven..
These photos were taken the night before NYE at the full moon party at jungle bar, where Paula and I agreed to an impromptu fire dance.. that orange top I am wearing is as good as ready for the trash because I got kerosene and black stuff from the poi all over it. Well, its was worth the laughs anyhow..
How were your holidays?
Oh and my insaaaaane shoes arrived the day before my flight.. they are absolutely ridiculous and probably the most amazing pair of shoes I have ever owned.

I've been wanting to post a comment here but blogger keeps telling me there's an error.
Anyway, I have been coming to this particular post again and again becoz of the hair. I see that someone asked how did you do this? I'd like to ask too...how? It's amazing. I'm bored with my straight-sometimes-wavy long hair by now. Please...any follow up post on this. Or you can email me at olivajopia@yahoo.com. How do I get those curly layers? Thanks Dane.
Also, if by any exciting twist of fate, you'll find yourself here in the city that never sleeps around September to November, please, please email me or call 917-285-9375. I will be doing my first photoshoot for a clothesline fashion show in 5th Avenue and I am in dire need of models. Not that I can't find one or two here...I just have a preference. Anyway, if you do have a friend around here who is as good as you, give my contacts. Thank you Dane and hope to do a photoshoot with you either in Cebu or Boracay...if it's ok. =)
